Once train crash victims' families lead rally at Obelisk

Family members and relatives of the 51 Once train crash victims headed a demonstration in front of the Obelisk, in the crossroads of 9 de Julio and Corrientes Avenues.

The crowd claimed for justice and for an exhaustive investigation of the causes of the accident. They carried posters against TBA (Trenes de Buenos Aires) and demanded the company’s contract is terminated because “the service never improves.”

Last Wednesday, a Sarmiento train crashed into the Once station, killing 51 people and injuring 703.
