Buenos Aires stocks plummet 2.9%
Buenos Aires stocks plummeted after the national holiday, with the Merval benchmark stock index edging down by 2.9 percent to 2,682.09 points.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 0.5% to 813 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
