Teacher unions accept City Government's upped wage proposal
City Education Minister Esteban Bullrich.
City teacher unions accepted the upped wage proposal put forward today by the City Government, and are to receive minimum monthly wage of $2,950 pesos with an additional 50 pesos added to cover teaching material costs.
Sixteen out of the seventeen teacher unions in the City of Buenos Aires accepted the new proposal put forward by the Mauricio Macri administration, upping the minimum wage by 24 percent in two stages, which by July will take the minimum monthly earnings to $3,120 pesos.
