CFK meets with Schiavi, consumers say non-SUBE price could hit 10 pesos

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner met today with Transport Secretary Juan Pablo Schiavi following the further extension of non-SUBE card fare announcement; which was put forward until March.

The meeting takes place amid the grand speculation over how non-SUBE transport costs are to be affected by subsidy cuts, with some consumers saying prices could reach as much as 10 pesos.

Transport Secretary Juan Pablo Schiavi yesterday said the that time to obtain the SUBE electronic card was extended until March 2nd, and that shortly before the date, the Government
will announce the bus and train fares for non-SUBE holders.
