CFK orders declassification of Rattenbach report

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner signs decree 200/12 which orders the declassification of the Rattenbach report.

President Cristina Fernández signed decree 200/12, which declassifies a report by Colonel Benjamin Rattenbach on the Malvinas war and orders the creation of a committee that will read the report and advise the Head of State what materials must be made public without affecting national security.

Fernández de Kirchner made the announcement in a ceremony in the Government House, surrounded by Vice-President Amado Boudou, Cabinet Chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina, and opposition members including lawmaker Francisco de Narváez, CGT umbrella union boss Hugo Moyano, Malvinas wars veterans and human rights activists.
