Workers lift roadblock outside Ezeiza airport
Outsourced workers who provide cleaning and security services at Ezeiza international airport staged a roadblock during several hours to protest “poor working conditions”, preventing passengers from entering the airport premises.
The protests continued today though yesterday the Labour Ministry ruled the compulsory agreement between the parts. Employees reported “exploitation, mistreatment and starvation wages.”
Protestors, who demand to be transferred to an aviation union, had also set a roadblock yesterday that prevented passengers from entering the Ministro Pistarini International Airport for 90 minutes.
