CFK postpones return to BA due to bad weather

Due to poor weather conditions, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner decided to postpone her return to Buenos Aires and stayed one more day in Santa Cruz, where she had flown to spend the weekend with her family. She is expected to resume her activities on Tuesday.

The Head of State had to postpone her return due to the severe thunderstorms affecting the central region of the country, which forced several airports to ground their flights until conditions improved, the presidential spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro said. 

Her schedule for the week has not been released to the public yet so there is no official information on her coming activities.

However, according to sources closed to the President, her doctors have advised her to keep a low profile and official activities to a minimum. She is expected to attend a few ceremonies while the wound on her neck completes the healing process.
