Two arrested after robbery, hostage situation in Palermo

Two thieves were detained at the Villa Urquiza neighbourhood after robbing a real state agency in Palermo and taking a woman hostage. Police sources reported that she was released unharmed after a quick chase.

The delinquents were at a real state agency located in the crossroad of Carranza and Nicaragua, where a patrol car from Police station n° 31 tried to stop them. The robbers responded by taking a woman hostage and escaped in their vehicle.

The patrol car gave chase and managed to detain both of the perpetrators, one at Melián street and the other at the corner of Mariano Acha and Holmberg.
