Rousseff expresses her condolences to Río tragedy’s victims
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff expressed her concern over the tragic collapse of three buildings in Río de Janeiro that left five dead and at least sixteen missing.
The Head of State assured she has been in constant contact with the city Mayor Eduardo Paes and Governor Sergio Cabral, and “closely accompanying” the rescuers’ efforts in Río de Janeiro.
Rousseff expressed during a rally held in Porto Alegre her “feelings” for the victims and also “hopes” that those who are missing “appear alive, after the efforts of the rescuers to find those who are under the debris.”
