Supermarket sales increase 14.2% in December

Supermarket sales gained 14.2 percent in December compared to the same month in 2010, according to the Indec national statistics bureau.

Meanwhile, the sales increased 2.6 percent in December against the previous month.

The official index also reported that the sector has accumulated a 27.7 percent increase during 2011.
