Argentine actress Mabel Manzotti dies aged 73
Argentine actress Mabel Manzotti died on Wednesday morning in Buenos Aires, after having suffered a stroke at the beginning of last year from which she never recovered. She was 73.
Manzotti maintained a lifetime’s worth of work across different medias. She worked in the theatre, in cinema and television, and in 1959 she formed a part of the cast of “El farsante más grande del mundo,” starring Alfredo Alcón and Osvaldo Bonet.
Later in her career she reached the stage of the Maipo theatre in Buenos Aires, however the role she was most famous for was for her role as “Bochita” in TV programme “El botón,” by Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel.
Her last appearance for television was in 'Vidas Robadas,' the TV show shown on Telefé starring Facundo Arana as leading actor, in 2008.
