'Moyano swore to me he'll quit Buenos Aires PJ party,' Viviani

The head of the Taxi Drivers’ Union Jorge Omar Viviani, came on stage today to ratify CGT boss Hugo Moyano’s willing of quitting his post as president of the BA province Peronist party.

Viviani indicated that Moyano “has already taken a decision, and he’s not going backwards. He assured to me that he’s going to quit”, as many are planting doubts on whether Moyano really wants to resign or not. So far the former trucker has tendered his resignation and is waiting for it to be accepted.

The statements made by Viviani came after Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo urged Moyano to leave as the official considered that “if you resign, then you must leave.”

To end, Viviani remarked that “Once [Daniel] Scioli [BA Province Governor] gets back from France, I’m sure Moyano’s resign will be accepted.”
