Villa 31 slum neighbours lift second roadblock at bus terminal
Neighbours of the Retiro’s Villa 31 slum lifted the roadblock they had staged at the intersection of Ramos Mejía and Antártida Argentina streets, blocking one of the main access to Retiro's long distance bus terminal.
The protesters, which live within the slum’s neigbourhood of San Martín, were asking the City Government to restore the electricity to the area, which has been suspended since last Thursday.
Earlier today, anocher roadblock was lifted after a working team of Edesur energy company arrived to the area to start works in order to reconnect the power service.
