Yellow alert: heat wave expected for BA City, province this afternoon
Another warm day expected for Buenos Aires today.
Yet another a very warm afternoon is expected today for the Buenos Aires area with temperatures reaching a high of 33 degrees.
Yesterday, the National Weather Forecast Service (SMN) issued a yellow alert for a heat wave up to 6 pm today for high temperatures.
Yellow alert is issued as a health warning, as the heat can be particularly dangerous for people aged over 65 and for babies and young children, and those suffering from terminal illnesses.
The SMN also alerts for storms, hail and strong rain South East of the Buenos Aires and La Pampa provinces and North East of Rio Negro.
