Spoiled Baghdatis blows up in changeover

Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis broke four racquets in 25 seconds of rage unleashed in a changeover during his Australian Open third-round match against Polish Stanislas Wawrinka.

Thus, Baghdatis provided fans at the Australian Open with some extra entertainment when he smashed four rackets in row during a spectacular court-side tantrum.

The Cypriot lost his cool after dropping serve early in the third set against Stanislas Wawrinka, having already lost the first two sets. Wawrinka, the No21 seed, went on to complete the victory 7-6 (3), 6-4, 5-7, 6-1.

The incident came soon after another player lost his cool, David Nalbandián having earlier demanded action be taken against the "stupid" umpire who oversaw his defeat to John Isner.
