'Congress index': Inflation hits 1.9% in December

Opposition lawmakers presented December’s inflation index based in the analysis of nine private agencies, which showed a 1.9 percent increase against the previous month.

“December’s index reached 1.9 percent,” Unión por Todos bloc legislator Patricia Bullrich assured during a press conference along with Radical Party’s Ricardo Gil Lavedra, Miguel Bazze and MIJD Socialist lawmaker Ramona Pucheta.

Bullrich considered that it was a “very high” increase in December, because price index had reached 1.4 percent in November.
