Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks closed lower, with the Merval benchmark stock index edging down by 0.3 percent, to 2,825.73 points. So far this year, it has accumulated gains of 14.7 percent.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 1.6 percent to 883 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
