Judge warns he is being 'pressured' to arrest Soria's wife
Río Negro Judge Juan Pablo Chirinos affirmed he receives “a lot of pressure” to detain Susana Freydoz, wife of the ex Governor Carlos Soria and the only suspect of the official’s murder committed last January 1.
According to the judge, the pressure is being felt “in the society” and also “inside the Judicial branch,” where they want to arrest the wife of the late governor, but Chirinos assured that his main “concern” is Freydoz’s health. The woman is under psychiatric studies because it is feared that she could “attempt to hurt herself.”
“There’s a lot of pressure in this case to arrest Freydoz. The people are asking to detain her, while the Prosecutor hasn’t even ordered it,” he continued.
