Yellow alert: heat wave expected to hit BA City, province today

A very warm afternoon is expected today for the Buenos Aires area with temperatures reaching a high of 38 degrees.

Earlier, the National Weather Forecast Service (SMN) issued a yellow alert for a heat wave up to 7 pm for high temperatures.

Yellow alert is issued as a health warning, as the heat can be particularly dangerous for people aged over 65 and for babies and young children, and those suffering from terminal illnesses.
