Gov't, opposition officials send CFK supportive messages
CGT lawmaker Julio Piumato tweeted that he wished the President to “stay strong and get better soon.”
Minutes before the operation began, he had tweeted that “the entire population was wishing her a speedy recovery.”
From his official Twitter account, Victory Front senator Eric Calcagno said that “the strenght of the country stands by Cristina. Stay strong Madam President!”
San Juan governor José Luis Gioja wished her children, Florencia and Máximo to “stay strong” as well. “The people of San Juan joins you in unconditional love,” he added. “The whole country needs you! You are in hearts and in our minds.”
His last tweet explained that the was in Buenos Aires to join the President. “Even though I didn’t see you behind the surgery, I know how strong you are in moments like these. Stay strong Madam President, you can do it”
Lawmaker Paula Bertol, from the opposing PRO party, also wished the President “a succesful and speedy recovery.”
