BA stocks gain 4.3% in first session of 2012
Buenos Aires stocks opened higher, with the Merval benchmark stock index edging up by 4.3 percent, to 2,568.20 points. In 2011 the leading panel of stocks suffered 30 percent in losses.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 3.9 percent to 891 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
