Prosecutor confirms Australian tourist was abused, one detained
Forensic doctors confirmed that the young Australian tourist who went missing on Monday near the town of Elk Bolsón, Río Negro province, and was found on Wednesday morning in a state of shock, was sexually abused. A man was detained.
A man was captured based in the physiognomic description gave by Emma Kekvy, 23-years-old, to the investigators, and will now have to face an identity parade.
Public Prosecutor Francisco Arrien, who is in charge of the investigation, had reported earlier that the young tourist was "likely sexually abused," and forensic doctors lated confirmed this information.
Emma Kevky, 23, was found in the Cajón de Azul region, close to the area where she was last seen on Monday. Doctors said she was dehydrated and had severe bruising on her arms and legs.
Arrien told the press that “after talking with Kevky for hours” he decided he was going pursue sexual assault charges for the case.
Five months ago, two French tourists, Houria Moumni and Cassandre Bouvier, were attacked, raped and murdered just after visiting the Quebrada de San Lorenzo park in Salta province.
