BA stocks move up, closes year with losses

Buenos Aires stocks presented gains, with the Merval benchmark stock index edging up by 1.5 percent, to 2,462.63 points. It has lost 30.1 percent in 2011.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose 0.1 percent to 923 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
