Buenos Aires banks close early

Banks in Buenos Aires operated shorter working hours today, while on December 26 they will be closed, in line with holiday put in place by the national government for Monday.

Today banks in the city will open their doors at 10 am and close operations between 1 and 2 pm, sources indicated.

With regard to local stocks, the Buenos Aires exchange house will be operating from 11 am to 2 pm, instead of the habitual 5 pm.
