Funeral service held for Iván Heyn
The body of foreign trade undersecretary Ivan Heyn, who was found dead in his hotel room in Montevideo yesterday, was brought to Buenos Aires in the early hours this morning. The funeral service for the 34-year-old economist took place in Belgrano neighbourhood.
The main members of La Cámpora political group, Andrés "Cuervo" Larroque, Juan Cabandié, José Ottavis and Mariano Recalde, have already attended to the funeral.
Also members of the national Cabinet as the Cabinet Chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina, Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino and Trade secretary Beatriz Paglieri, paid their respects to Heyn.
The ceremony took place at a funeral home in Belgrano, along O’Higgins 2842, and lasted until late hours of Wednesday.
Heyn, who was appointed his role on December 10, was found dead yesterday in Uruguay in his room at the Radisson hotel, where he had been participating in the Mercosur Summit.
