Iran invites UN nuclear agency team to visit
Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh said Iran earlier this month sent a letter to IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano.
Iran has renewed an invitation to the UN nuclear agency to visit the country "with the aim of resolving" issues, the Islamic state's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency told reporters today.
Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh said Iran earlier this month sent a letter to IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, who last month issued a report which pointed to military links to Tehran's nuclear programme, a charge Tehran denies.
"I have also had discussions with the officials of the agency and we are planning for the visit," Soltanieh said.
