Buenos Aires stocks gain 1.7%
Buenos Aires stocks closed with gains as the Merval benchmark stock index moved up by 1.7 percent, to 2,442.27 points.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk edged down by 3% to 932 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
