Bullrich accuses the gov’t of having a ‘military attitude’ towards the Congress
“Victory’s Front attitude really impresses me. There is a military verticality, nobody talks, and nobody has a voice. The only interest is to forward the rulings.”
“Newcomers at the Congress have no chance to express their opinions,” she stressed.
“They have built a machine to get their bills passed with no debate, no consent, in a very strong pace, but when we talk about debate, the consensus capacity is absent,” Bullrich complained.
“The government wants to get the bills cleared with no debate. That has stopped the Congress to function properly. The government doesn’t see the House as a place where laws are drawn from the scratch. It sees the Congress as a place where get passed,” the lawmaker told the press.
Regarding the pending 2012 Budget Bill, an important law for the government’s planning and execution next year, Bullrich said it should have no “problems to get approved.”
“The budget proposal has been presented in September. Later, they decided to eliminate subsidies and it hasn’t changed.”
“This administration knows the budget is an institutional fiction,” Bullrich protested.
