Heads of State arrive to BA ahead of CFK's inauguration
Bolivian President Evo Morales landed in Buenos Aires shortly after 5 pm, in order to attend President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s inauguration ceremony Saturday.
Immediately after his arrival, Morales travelled to the Greater Buenos Aires locality of Escobar, where he meet with Bolivian residents in Argentina and Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli.
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff arrived to the Metropolitan airport after 8.30 pm. Rouseff will hold a bilateral meeting with Fernández de Kirchner tomorrow afternoon.
Chilean President Sebastián Piñera, Uruguayan president José Mujica and Paraguayan president Fernando Lugo are expected to arrive hours before the swearing-in ceremony. Earlier, the Heads of State of Venezuela, Colombia and Peru, Hugo Chávez, Juan Manuel Santos and Ollanta Humala cancelled their planned trips to Buenos Aires due to different reasons.
Meanwhile prince Felipe of Spain arrived at Ezeiza airport. US president Barack Obama sent his Labour secretary Hilda Solís as his representative.
