Neymar doesn't hide sympathy for Barça

Santos forward Neymar has publicly stated that he wants Barcelona FC to beat Real Madrid in next Saturday's Spanish derby due to the Brazilian players within tha Catalonian side.

The 19-year-old has been perennially linked with both Spanish sides, but says that he would prefer Josep Guardiola's team because of his countryfellows Dani Alves and Adriano.

“I am very fond of Dani Alves and I always support him. I'm going with Daniel and Adriano,” the 19-year-old told reporters.

"Barca are the best team in the world. They all play the ball. Xavi, Iniesta and Messi are crucial and I hope to play with them live."

The Brazilian starlet also looked forward to the Club World Cup in Japan, where his Santos side could meet Guardiola's European champions.

“I'm already looking forward to the Club World Cup. We are working to get well-prepared so we can make history again.”

Despite winning the Copa Libertadores earlier this year, Santos only managed to finish in10th place in the Brasileirao, tournament that was clinched yesterday by San Pablo’s rivals Corinthians on Sunday after a poor goaless draw against Palmeiras.
