City school teachers march again

Once again, city school teachers from Ademys union were carried out and marched in complaint of the bill being putting forward to eliminate Classification Boards.

It was said that the conflict between the City government and City teachers could well be resolved tomorrow, when teacher unions meet with City Education Minister, Esteban Bullrich.

The general secretary of the Union for Workers in Education (UTE), Eduardo López, assured that while the bill being put forward to abolish the teacher’s Classification Boards is not being looked at in the Legislature, that there would be no measures of force taken; and confirmed that the dialogue continues with City government officials.

The beginning stages of the initiative in the Legislature were recorded from November 17 to 24, following various strikes carried out by City teachers.

Yesterday, in the Parliamentary meeting, the City Legislature agreed that the bill will be discussed on December 1, in the last ordinary session of the year.
