Buenos Aires stocks drop by 2.9%

Buenos Aires stocks fell, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving down by 2.9 percent, to 2,410.76 points. So far this month losses were totalled at 17%.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 1.9% to 1000 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
