'Some things distorted need to be corrected,' CFK says

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner made a call to “keep those things that worked out during her administration,” and even though she denied making any errors, she admitted “there are some things that have been distorted and need to be corrected.”

She later talked about the current economic problems affecting Europe and the United States, and said she hopes “God will show them the light, so they can find a quick solution to their crises.”

“We don’t live in Disneyworld, but fortunately our situation is far from what we can see is happening in other countries. I don’t mean as a way to find solace, but simply to appreciate what we have,” she said.

Earlier in her speech, the President called on business leaders and union heads “to be responsible when it came to special interests, considering the world we’re living in.”

She also assured she would “correct distortions” which would help guarantee the growth of domestic market.

The President made these statements during a ceremony held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of Ford Argentina.
