CFK calls Rajoy, congratulates him for landslide victory

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner called Spanish president-elect Mariano Rajoy and congratulated him for his victory after defeating the Socialist candidate by a landslide. 

Rajoy obtained a 44.59 percent of the votes.

According to sources in the Foreign Ministry, the President called the Partido Popular’s candidate to congratulate him and praised the Spanish population for taking part in the democratic process.
