‘Tito’ Vázquez confirms team for Davis final

Argentina will travel to Spain to play the final of the Davis Cup with five players: Juan Martín del Potro, David Nalbandian, Juan Chela, Juan Mónaco and Eduardo Schwank, team’s captain Modesto “Tito” Vázquez announced.

“We chose to go with five players, as Spain did, and we will define the four who will be in the team on Tuesday (November 29) before the draw,” Vázquez affirmed during a press conference.

The captain added that the five players that have been summoned are the ones who had “collaborated” this year with Argentina to reach the final that will be held at Seville between the 2 and 4 of December.

Those who were summoned will meet on Monday in Buenos Aires and will travel to Spain on Thursday.

Del Potro and Nalbandian, the two main cards of Argentina, have left the circuit a few weeks ago to recover and focus in the final.
