Economy grows 7.7% in September

Indec national statistics bureau reported that the economy grew 7.7 percent in September year on year. Earlier President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner stated that the nation’s economy had increased by 9 percent in the first nine months of the year.

The President made the announcement during the ceremony held to commemorate the Vuelta de Obligado battle, in the area of San Pedro, in the Buenos Aires Province.

The monthly economic activity index (EMAE) grew 7.7 percent in September compared to the same month last year, the official agency reported later.
