Universidad de Chile oust Arsenal of Sudamericana Cup

Chilean Universidad de Chile''s Marcos Gonzalez (L)and Marcelo Diaz (R) vie for the ball with Argentina''s Arsenal de Sarandi Emilio Zelaya during their Copa Sudamericana football match at Nacional stadium in Santiago.

Universidad de Chile defeated Arsenal de Sarandí 3-0 in the match for the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Sudamericana Cup, and left the Argentine team out of the tournament.

Universidad's Eduardo Vargas opened the score at 10' of the first half of the game, while his teammate Francisco Castro netted the second goal at 45'.

The third goal of the Chilean team was scored by Gustavo Canales at 10' of the second half.
