'There are no internal conflicts within Aerolíneas,' Recalde says
The president of Aerolíneas Argentinas Mariano Recalde, today assured that “there are no conflicts” within the company and sustained that the existence of a national airline controlled by the State “works in Argentina’s favour”.
“The State still needs to invest in Aerolíneas Argentinas, to ensure that functions as it should do, which really works in Argentina’s favour,” assured Recalde during a radio interview today.
The national airline chief further commented that “there is no conflict within Aerolíneas Argentinas,” stating that the difficulties faced over last weekend, which caused international flights to be cancelled, “was a product of air traffic control to Ezeiza’s hangars, organized by Cirielli”.
“He has a conflictive relationship with the control and representation of the aeronautical union, which controls the traffic of all airlines. When he couldn’t quite make enough noise inside the air traffic control tower, he decided to widen the protest to Aerolíneas’ hangars; which causes many more repercussions,” Recalde stated.
