Puricelli blasts airline protest, calls it a 'boycott'

National Defence Minister, Arturo Puricelli.

The Defence Minister Arturo Puricelli, came out to speak on the union conflict which has been affecting international and local flights, stating that the air traffic controllers who went on strike last night should “take social responsibility” for their actions, and get back to work. Puricelli labelled the protest a "boycott" and says the disruption to the service “happened for no reason”.

“Pure and simple, what they are doing is called a boycott, because they are disrupting the service for absolutely no reason,” stated the government minister during a radio interview. Puricelli further commented that the workers should “regain social responsibility,” and go back to work.
