'We are one of the seven wonders'

Misiones Governor Maurice Closs assured that the Iguazú Falls are “one of the world’s seven natural wonders,” during a press conference held to celebrate the election.

The governor said that “the committee has sent us the provisional vote” that will be confirmed next year, and “sent us a certificate which stated that we are one of the new seven natural wonders.”

After the results were unveiled, Closs was visibly happy and thanked “all the people that stood by us and all that voted for us.”

Closs explained that result will be made official early in 2012 with a big celebration. Likewise, he said that the celebrations will take place in the Iguazú Falls, in Buenos Aires and in Brasilia.
