De Mendiguren denies meddling between CFK and Moyano

Argentine Industrial Union head, José de Mendiguren, played downed all rumours indicating that he was meddling between President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and CGT Labour Confederation boss, Hugo Moyano.

In conversations with reporters, De Mendiguren recognized that he agrees with Moyano in certain topics, but insisted that discussions between businessmen and unionists shouldn’t only verse around salary increases.

“I think there are some other matters to be discussed as for example the revenues sharing bill even though I have many discrepancies with the project’s author, Deputy Héctor Recalde.”

Likewise, De Mendiguren asked the government for “the creation of profitable spaces so that large capitals that many Argentines have overseas can be brought back, and invested in the country.”
