Jackson's death bed to go under the hammer
In another money-making event following the death of the “King of Pop”, the bed in which Michael Jackson died is to go up for auction as of next month.
The infamous piece of furniture is one of the hundred of articles to be auctioned from the star’s mansion on the Holmby Hills, where the singer spent his last days.
“We want to preserve the history of these objects,” said Darren Julien, president of Julien’s Auctions Company, who will be selling the furniture, paintings and sculptures that surrounded Jackson while he prepared to return to the stage.
Furthermore, the mansion estate along Carolwood Drive where Jackson lived with his three children from December 2008 until his death in June 2009, is now up for sale.
In other Jackson news, the artist’s doctor Conrad Murray, was sentenced this week to involuntary manslaughter in the mark of Jackson’s death, where still, analysts in the United States were carrying out inspections on the three floors of the mansion where the star lived.
