Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged down as the Merval benchmark stock index lost 2.6 percent, to 2,689.31 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk dropped by 1.9 percent to 834 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
