Domestic aircraft emergency lands in Rosario
Aircraft makes emergency landing.
A domestic airplane, which took off this morning from Rosario’s International Malvinas Islands Airport and was destined for Buenos Aires Metropolitan Airport, made an emergency landing following a problem in the engine, which was reportedly linked to an oil leak. The flight had thirty passengers on board.
Sol airlines vice-president, Juan Nyffenegger stated, “it could have been to do with an oil leak causing difficulties.” Due to this, the airplane was forced to return to the terminal in Rosario, fifteen minutes after it taking off. None were injured in the incident. The company representative continued, “it’s the first time that an engine has failed,” reassuring that “controls are carried out all the time”.
