Malvinas: Ibero-American leaders back Argentina at summit
The nations that form part of the Ibero-American bloc reaffirmed the need to renegotiate over the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands today, bringing up the resolutions made by the international community that advise the United Kingdom to avoid carrying out “one-sided” actions, such as exploiting resources and military action.
“The Heads of State and govenrments of the Ibero-American countries reaffirm the need for the Argentine Government and that of Great Britain solve, as soon as possible, the negotiations left unsolved over the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands,” stated the resolution put together today at the 21st summit of Ibero-American leaders that took place yesterday in Paraguay.
