This week at the movies
Fans of period dramas will be content this week as the new remake of the classic "Three Musketeers" opens starring Matthew Macfadyen and Milla Jovovich. A more local option includes Argentine "La Patria Equivocada" starring Ricardo Bertone and Juana Viale. Those fond of foreign films should take a peek at the suspenseful ‘Outside the Law’.
Meanwhile US ‘Congagio’ starring Gweneth Paltrow and Matt Damon could scare you out of the cinema, as could ‘The Change Up’, but perhaps for entirely different reasons.
Favourite at Cannes, ‘Outside the Law’ (Hors-La-Loi), which speaks on the Algerian struggle for independence from France after the Second World War, is highly recommended.
Finally, ‘Violeta se fue a los cielos’ pays tribute to Chilean singer-songwriter and overall artist Violeta Parra (1917-1967), starring Francisca Gavilán.
