Jorge Macri calls for a 'clean transition' in Vicente López
Jorge Macri celebrates his victory.
Jorge Macri, who won the mayoral election in Vicente López district defeating the 24-year-old mayor K Radical Enrique “Japonés” García, urged to “accept” the result and called for a “clean transition.”
“We have to give time to the mayor that has been in power for 24 years,” ironically said Macri.
The cousin of Buenos Aires City mayor also assured that he hopes he can work along with Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli and President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, because many of the people who voted him have also voted for the pro-government candidates.
