De la Rúa 'apologizes' to Argentines

Almost 10 years after he left his post, ex-President Fernando De la Rúa, gave an “apology” to Argentines due to the “mistakes” he committed during his administration.

After casting his vote in a school in Buenos Aires City, the former head of State highlighted that “no matter which is the result” of the election, “the Republic and the democracy are strengthening.”

“It’s been almost ten years since I resigned. If something bothered to someone, if I made a mistake, I apologize,” De la Rúa affirmed.

The ex Radical Party leader told the press that he is “retired” from politics and added that he did have a “lot of work to do” today.
