Argentine female basketball team make historical victory over US
The girls celebrate after a victory over the US team.
Argentina’s national female basketball team achieved its first victory after defeating the United States by 58-55 in the first match of the Group A at the XVI Pan American Games of Guadalajara 2011.
The Argentine team reacted after an initial defeat by 20-24, by the end of the first part of the match.
The team will face Mexico on Saturday for the second game of the groups round.
