Argentina beat Costa Rica, closer to semi-finals

Argentina’s Under-20 national football team defeated Costa Rica 3-0 and are closer to the semi-finals at the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games.

Franco Fragapane opened the score at 40’ of the first half, while his teammate Germán Pezzela netted Argentina’s second goal at 16’ of the second half.

The third goal of the match was scored by Lucas Kruspzky at 31’.

Argentina reached four points in the second match for the Group B, while Costa Rica remained with three.

Costa Rica: Kevin Briceño, Jordan Smith, Rudy Dawson, Derrick Johnson, Joseph Mora; Jorge Davis, Gualberto Montenegro, Dylan Flores, Vianney Blanco; Bryan Vega and Jonathan McDonald. Coach: Carlos Watson.
